This June, the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress will host a Bavarian Ball at Mansion House in aid of The Lord Mayor’s Appeal. Reflecting the heritage of Lady Mayoress Elisabeth Mainelli, the themed event will bring to London the fun of a Bavarian Beerfest.
Taking place on Thursday, 13 June 2024, the night of feasting and dancing is open to all and will include a dedicated bar of famous Bavarian beers, a champagne reception, a live auction, silent auction and true or false fundraising activity, plenty of German fairground games to keep everyone in the party spirit amidst the chorus of singing, swaying, and cheering.
Guests will be entertained by Master of Ceremonies Eva Von Schnippisch, the UK’s number one Oktoberfest host. Known as one of the funniest Fräulein Compères on the international cabaret scene, her kitsch comedy and quick wit is sure to keep energy levels high. The musical entertainment will be provided by a five-piece Oompah band; and a mouth-watering Bavarian feast created by Franz Schinagl, Executive Chef at the Austrian Embassy and former Executive Chef at St Martins Lane Hotel.
