Explore after dark at London Transport Museum, Covent Garden

0

Adults can enjoy a post-work evening of culture by exploring London Transport Museum after hours on selected Thursdays from 18:30 to 21:00. At these special themed After Dark evenings, visitors can explore the Museum’s collection and galleries free from crowds and catch up with friends with a drink from the pop-up bar – including the Museum’s must-try signature red Routemaster cocktail.

Hosted by creatives, journalists, writers, poets and historians, each event features themed activities and quizzes inspired by London’s history, heritage and pastimes.

While exploring the Museum’s galleries, guests can get a glimpse of what the next decade could hold for life in the Capital in the brand-new London 2030 installation, experience the atmospheric and award-winning Hidden London exhibition in the Global Gallery – now extended by popular demand – and explore the newly opened London’s Transport at War gallery. Visitors can also discover more about the world-famous art and design heritage of the Capital’s transport in the London by Design gallery, from maps to moquette.

Advanced booking and one-way routes will help visitors to social distance and the Museum has an enhanced cleaning regime using anti-viral disinfectant that protects for up to 30 days. Hand sanitiser stations are located throughout the venue and unless exempt guests must wear a face mask.

Tickets to all After Dark events cost £12 (concession £10) and must be booked online in advance at ltmuseum.co.uk/whats-on/after-dark. Over 18s only.
