The school summer holidays can be a stressful time – six weeks of juggling how to keep the children entertained and active without the costs spiralling out of control. The Pavilion Leisure Centre in Bromley is aiming to ease that pressure, with discounted activities running throughout the holidays.
Mytime Active, the charity that manages the leisure centre on behalf of the council, is offering a free breakfast for children every weekday morning until 2nd September. Available from 9.15am to 10.15am, children can choose from toast, porridge or an apple, with no booking required.
After breakfast it’s time for a spot of bowling! Games at The Pavilion cost just £1 per player on weekdays between 9am and 11am. Families with a junior or student Mytime Active membership also receive one free four-player game as standard.
The Pavilion’s Family Splash sessions, featuring waves, fountains and floats, continue to run throughout the summer, with a giant inflatable obstacle course added to the pool on Fridays during the holidays.
For families staying on for lunch, The Pavilion is running a meal deal from Wednesday to Friday until 28th August: buy any adult main from the mains or pizza menu and a children’s meal from the kids’ menu costs just £1.
