Laurent-Perrier will be returning as official champagne partner of London’s finest culinary festival, Taste of London, with a masterclass experience that celebrates winemaking innovation and pioneering sustainability, in the 50th year of its revolutionary Cuvée Rosé.

Championing eco-friendly food processes, Laurent-Perrier has teamed up with pioneering farmer Igor Vaintraub of Indie Ecology alongside five of London’s most renowned restaurants including Adam Handling’s The Frog, Ikoyi, Roganic, The Modern Pantry and Club Gascon, to create five exquisite feasts showcasing organic ingredients fresh from the farm.

The experience will bring to life Laurent-Perrier’s relationship with provenance and nature with an exclusive organic tasting menu, and Cuvée Rosé champagne masterclass, immersing guests in the process of turning field to fork and grape into glass. Each masterclass will be perfectly paired with and accompanied by Laurent- Perrier’s iconic Cuvée Rosé, as guests are invited to learn about the wine’s ground- breaking history, marking a half-century since the launch of Cuvée Rosé – the original “modern” rosé champagne.

Laurent- Perrier Rosé Masterclass with Indie Ecology series:

Wednesday 13th June: Innovative West African flavours from Ikoyi

Thursday 14th June: Modern British cuisine from The Frog restaurant group

Friday 15th June: Ethereal Modern British food from Roganic

Saturday 16th June: Fresh & contemporary flavours sourced from a ‘global larder’ by The Modern Pantry

Sunday 17th June: Gastronomic French cuisine from Club Gascon

Masterclass guests will discover how Laurent-Perrier defied convention in 1968 with a series of pioneering techniques, from maceration to extended aging, that resulted in the birth of the UK’s most-loved rosé champagne. What’s more, the event will shed a light on Laurent-Perrier’s sustainable philosophy and forward-thinking expertise.

Leading the way in the sustainable food scene, Indie Ecology began by growing fruit, vegetables and edible flowers for some of Britain’s top restaurants. Collecting leftovers from restaurant kitchens, Igor turns the waste into compost and grows the next delivery of fresh, locally-grown produce for the very kitchens it came from.

Taste of London guests will also be invited to step inside the Laurent-Perrier Clubhouse and be transported to the countryside, where they can sip the highly acclaimed Cuvée Rosé in the beautiful and rustic surroundings designed to recreate Indie Ecology’s eco-farm in the heart of the capital.

The Laurent-Perrier Clubhouse and exclusive chef collaborations will be available to experience at Taste of London from 13th – 17th June 2018. Tickets for the Laurent- Perrier masterclasses are available from £20, together with Taste of London general admission tickets which start from £17 both available via london.tastefestivals.com/tickets.
