Walthamstow pharmacy sold as owner retires
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Cavendish Pharmacy in Walthamstow, North East London.
Established in 1913, Cavendish Pharmacy is a standard-hours community pharmacy that dispenses an average of 3,011 items per month. It is ideally located in a parade of shops on the outskirts of the large North East London area of Walthamstow.
The business has been owned by Samir Nejim of Teeba Health Services Ltd since 2008 and was brought to market to allow him to pursue a well-earned retirement.
Following a confidential sales process with Mark Page at Christie & Co, it has been purchased by a small, expanding London-based group.
Mark Page, Director – Pharmacy at Christie & Co, comments, “This high street pharmacy in North East London attracted multiple bids which further demonstrates that the demand for independent pharmacies remains strong. There have been fewer corporate disposals so far in 2024, so buyers are increasingly looking towards the independent sector.”
Cavendish Pharmacy was sold for an undisclosed price.
