The building, originally designed by famed architect Eero Saarinen, retains its distinctive 1960s architectural flair, blending seamlessly with modern upgrades by Sir David Chipperfield and Joseph Dirand.
The hotel’s spacious interiors boast floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the park, flooding rooms with natural light.
Signature mid-century design elements evoke a classic “Mad Men” era atmosphere, while the exterior remains connected to its heritage with the return of Theodore Roszak’s 35-foot eagle sculpture atop the roof.
With a focus on music, art, and thoughtful dining, the Chancery Rosewood aims to cultivate a dynamic yet inviting space that will attract both locals and international visitors alike.
St Regis London
The St Regis London will mark the luxury brand’s debut in the UK.
Situated on the corner of Conduit Street and Bond Street in Mayfair, the hotel will occupy the former Westbury hotel, undergoing a £90 million redevelopment.
The project includes the addition of an eighth floor and the redesign of 196 rooms by Peter Newman-Earp from Morrison Design.
Guests can expect the signature St Regis butler service, along with a nod to the hotel’s heritage through features like the Polo Bar, a tribute to the Phipps family who originally established the Westbury hotel in New York.
Additional amenities will include a signature restaurant, a speakeasy-style jazz bar, a fitness centre, and a spa – it promises to deliver an elevated experience in line with the global St Regis portfolio.
Cambridge House
Cambridge House will mark Auberge Resorts Collection‘s debut in the UK, joining the bustling luxury hotel scene in Mayfair.
Located at 94 Piccadilly, this Grade I-listed Palladian townhouse, dating back to the 1700s, was once home to the In and Out Military Club and will now be transformed into a 102-room luxury hotel.
The project is part of the Reuben Brothers’ £1bn redevelopment of the area, which includes other high-end residential developments nearby.
The interiors of Cambridge House will be redesigned by Jean-Louis Deniot, with Laura Gonzalez overseeing the transformation of its dining spaces, spa, and members-only club rooms.
The hotel will offer a variety of venues, including a Georgian ballroom, an open-air courtyard, and a brasserie-style restaurant, with an exciting culinary partnership yet to be revealed. The spa will span two levels, featuring two heated swimming pools, seven treatment rooms and a Roman-style bathhouse.
