It’s beginning to look a lot like fish-mas at SEA LIFE London Aquarium! As the attraction opened this morning, Father Christmas and his trusty elf made a splash-tacular entrance into the Open Oceans habitat, spreading waves of holiday cheer for guests.
Decked out in his iconic red suit, Scuba Santa, alongside his elf in full festive gear, brought holiday cheer to the underwater world, and drew creatures’ attention, especially the Ocellated Eagle Rays and Zebra Shark, who swam closer to see what all the excitement was about.
As Santa and his elf made their merry plunge into the water, the first guests of the day were treated to a sea-riously magical surprise. With wide-eyed wonder and bubbling with excitement, children pressed their faces closer, eagerly waving at the jolly duo.
SEA LIFE London Aquarium’s General Manager Catherine Pritchard said: “We’re splashing through the snow with Christmas spirit here at SEA LIFE London Aquarium! Our team wanted to bring some holiday magic to our creatures and guests alike with a special visit from Santa and his elf. Seeing the delight and surprise on our guests’ faces as they witnessed this underwater merry spectacle is truly an incredible way to kickstart the holiday season.”
