Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters is coming to Immersive Gamebox, with a brand new group gaming experience inspired by Netflix’s global hit, opening in January 2027. Fans can join the waitlist from today to secure exclusive priority access when tickets drop in December, allowing them to book 24 hours before tickets go on general sale, with an additional 48-hour early access window unlocked for fans who refer three friends.
The Immersive Gamebox experience lets fans join the musical action and adventure through gameplay inspired by favorite moments and characters from the animated film.
Guests will start by creating their own personalised superfan avatar – inspired by Kpop Demon Hunters – choosing their look, outfit and accessories before stepping into Kpop Demon Hunters gameplay. From there, things get physical and fun. There are no controllers or VR goggles. Instead, Immersive Gamebox uses 3D motion tracking, projection mapping and touch-sensitive walls to track players’ movements, turning the players themselves into the controller and allowing the whole group to play together naturally using a lightweight visor.
HUNTR/X will be there along the way to guide players as they take on challenges inspired by memorable locations, music and moments from the film.
Lisa Paton, CEO of Immersive Gamebox said: “Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters is perfect for Immersive Gamebox. Music, movement, friendship and the collective energy of the fans are such a huge part of its world, and those are things we can bring to life in a really exciting way through group gameplay.
“We want fans to feel like they’re joining the action. From creating their own superfan avatar, taking on demons and exploring locations inspired by the film, there’s so much for fans to recognise and experience together. We’re incredibly excited to open the waitlist today and give fans the chance to be first in line when tickets begin dropping in December.”
Whether you know every lyric, have spent months immersed in the fandom or simply want a new group activity to try, the experience has been designed to bring players into the action together. Group play sits at the heart of the Gamebox format, with players moving, reacting and working together rather than watching from the sidelines.
