Festive Activities

For the work Christmas party – get creative for a festive team building activity and join one of Malina’s Christmas Wreath Making Classes.

Lasting between 60-90 minutes, these intimate workshops teach participants how to decorate a wreath base and add seasonal foliage such as dried pine combs, eucalyptus and dried fruits to produce your own personalised creation. No experience is required, ideal for beginners and those who are looking to learn a new skill this festive season.

For a jolly good laugh - head over to The Hawk’s Nest for the ‘The Big Christmas Quiz’ hosted by comedian Jamie Allerton. Catch-up with friends in the comfort of the alfresco, covered terrace whilst participating in the quiz with a chance to win a £150 bar tab and more festive prizes! Quiz on Tuesday 16th December from 7-9pm.

Christmas Shopping

For the culture seekers – head to Special Rider Books and Records and shop the carefully curated selections of A2 books and vinyl records from this independent bookshop. Also shop stocking fillers with their range of candles, bookmarks and zines.

For crafting a personalised gift – join Pigment Press for their festive pop-up, open every Saturday from 29th November to 20th December. Browse and buy their hand-printed festival goods, such as designed cards, overprinted pre-loved T-shirts, Furoshiki wrap, calendars and notebooks. All items are silkscreen printed by hand onto recycled materials in their studio and are unique and creative gifts to give to friends and family this Christmas. If you are interested in their process, live printing will be taking place throughout the day, so make sure you go and get a first-hand look.

For a gift they’ll truly love – shop at Yu Guan Yin for personalised presents. Browse the range of handmade jewellery and traditional Chinese decorations and accessories, which have all been crafted by owner, Pei Jia. These one-off designs are beautiful and meaningful gifts to give loved ones this Christmas.

Perfect for sharing with friends and family this Christmas or other large gatherings such as a work Christmas party.
