Erith and Thamesmead MP, Abena Oppong-Asare, has announced a new 3-day summer school for young people in the local area.
The School will focus on the practical skills needed to design and run effective campaigns on a range of non-partisan social issues. Abena Oppong-Asare MP will personally help action the best ideas into real campaigns to benefit local residents.
Applications are welcomed from all young people between the ages of 16 and 21 however priority will be given to those who live or go to school in the constituency of Erith and Thamesmead.
Abena Oppong-Asare, MP for Erith and Thamesmead said:
“My summer school is going to be all about empowerment. Young people in our area have amazing ideas and I want to give them the tools and support they need to create positive change.”
