STAFF at an Acton store enjoyed a surprise celebration when they were given a ‘Best Customer Service on the High Street’ award.
Unknown to the team at the town’s Specsavers store, judges from Acton Business Improvement District (BID) carried out a series of mystery shops across businesses in the area. Ranking each one against a set of criteria, Specsavers Acton set a high bar when it came to delivering an outstanding level of customer service.
Sneha Pancholi, director and dispensing optician supervisor at Specsavers Acton, said: ‘We’re absolutely thrilled with this Award. It means so much to each of us. We strive daily to ensure that customers’ expectations are met, both from a clinical and customer journey perspective.
‘Being recognised for our commitment and dedication from Acton BID has really motivated the team to excel in all areas of the business.’
Mike Plante, Specsavers Head of Customer Operations UK & Ireland, said of the team’s achievement: ‘So great to have this external validation of the brilliant service you provide to your customers.’
With an eye to the future, the directors are keen to ensure the community has access to the best sight and hearing services, including minor eye conditions for the management of red eyes and dry eyes, flashes and floaters.
Working closely with GP Practices in the vicinity, the Specsavers Acton team manages a high level of patient referrals, which helps to alleviate pressure on the NHS.
