In his capacity as an executive producer and co-founder of Revelations Entertainment, the academy award winning actor is set to give a rare UK interview this Thursday on The Screenlately show – a new film and TV talk show hosted by husband and wife team Emmanuel & Clare Anyiam-Osigwe.
The Screenlately show airs on internet radio station Choice FM UK and is independently produced by Screenlately.com. And though the station is based in South London it is not affiliated to the original Choice FM which was bought out by Global (the largest commercial radio company in Europe) and has since rebranded as Capital Xtra.
Freeman will not be the only big Hollywood name on Thursday’s show, as actor and producer Edi Gathegi (The Harder They Fall) and executive producer Lori McCreary (Madame Secretary) will be joining Morgan to talk about the UK release of U.S family drama Princess of The Row which stars Edi Gathegi, Tayler Buck and Martin Sheen. The film was acquired by UK streamer Bohemia Euphoria.
The Screenlately show launched earlier this month with high profile interviews featuring BAFTA winners Cathy Tyson and Adjani Salmon. Other guests have featured writer/actor/author Nathan Bryon, actresses Karen Bryson MBE and Victoria Ekanoye and media diversity champion Marcus Ryder MBE who spoke out against the government’s plans to privatise broadcaster Channel 4.
Speaking on the scoop, Emmanuel Anyiam-Osigwe said “For months we’ve been working behind the scenes to make this interview happen as it’s not every day you get the opportunity to interview Morgan Freeman the producer. Listeners are in for a real treat as they’ll get the opportunity to hear that unmistakable voice which movie audiences around the world have grown to know and love for over 5 decades”.
