Addison Lee, London’s leading ground transport, taxi, and courier provider, has today announced the appointment of Patrick Gallagher as Chief Executive Officer. Patrick will succeed Liam Griffin, who will be continuing his position as Group Chief Point-to-Point Mobility Officer at Addison Lee’s parent company ComfortDelGro.
Patrick joined Addison Lee as Chief Operating Officer and Board Director in March 2020 and has played a pivotal role in the company’s strategic and operational transformation. Prior to joining Addison Lee, Patrick served as Chief Executive Officer at CitySprint Group for almost two decades, establishing himself as an entrepreneurial and award-winning leader through his success in driving multiple strategic acquisitions. With over 35 years of executive leadership experience, he has spearheaded businesses across the UK and North America in the logistics, mobility, healthcare, and retail sectors.
As part of this next phase, Addison Lee is bringing its UK operations into closer alignment under a single leadership structure. This includes its London-based businesses alongside its North West operations within CityFleet Networks. Patrick will assume responsibility for this expanded UK platform, overseeing operations across London and the North West to support continued growth and integration.
This appointment reflects continued alignment between Addison Lee and the wider ComfortDelGro Group, as the business accelerates its growth strategy and reinforces its leadership in premium urban mobility.
Patrick Gallagher, CEO at Addison Lee, commented: “Addison Lee has set the benchmark for premium urban mobility in London, and I’m incredibly proud to be leading the company into its next chapter.
“Our focus will be on driving innovation, expanding our services and continuing to deliver market-leading propositions to our customers, all while supporting the people who make Addison Lee possible: the drivers. We’re committed to improving the experience and livelihoods of our drivers, providing opportunities and practical support so they can thrive on the road and build fulfilling careers.”
