Magnolia Court Care home, in Hampstead was full of ‘Pawsome’ activity in the form of 3 delightful Cavapoo puppies who bought adorability and fun to enrich the resident’s lives in the home.
Animal Therapy is one of the residents most treasured activities and is based on the scientific principle that human-animal interactions reduce stress, anxiety, raise oxytocin which helps you feel calm and is a great mood lifter
Residents at Magnolia Court Care Home were treated to a display and naughty antic from these terrific trio strutting their stuff up and down the corridors and in and out of the resident’s rooms
Senior General Manager Wayne Hughes said: “It is clear to see that ‘Puppy Power’ has all the magic needed for the festive season and it is clear that when you see the smiles on the resident’s faces, it is the smallest things that mean the most”
Resident Judy who has a wealth and experience of animals was particularly in awe by the adventurous antics of the trio and stated that “She wanted to keep them overnight for snuggles and cuddles”
