Attic Self Storage Launches a Campaign Celebrating the Lasting Memories of Parenthood in Enfield and Barking & Dagenham

Attic Self Storage has launched a heartfelt campaign to celebrate the magic of parenthood and the importance of preserving precious family memories. The initiative coincides with the launch of the company’s two newest storage facilities in Enfield and Barking & Dagenham – areas with a high population of young families and strong community spirit.

Rooted in the belief that storage is about more than just space, Attic Self Storage is spotlighting the sentimental value behind the things we choose to keep. In Barking & Dagenham – home to London’s highest birth rate in 2022 – and Enfield, which also boasts a large population of children and young families*, the campaign aims to inspire parents to cherish and protect the keepsakes that tell their children’s early stories.

As part of the campaign, Attic Self Storage has partnered with popular TV personality Amy Childs, a proud Barking native and mum of four, to create a practical guide on what to keep, what to donate, and how to store childhood mementoes safely to prevent damage over time.

To bring the guide to life, the self-storage company is releasing a limited run of memory boxes designed to help families preserve special items like baby’s first shoes, hand-drawn pictures, and cherished photos. These memory boxes will be available through giveaways hosted on Amy Childs’s social media platforms, local influencers, and Attic Self Storage’s own channels – each accompanied by a £100 voucher.

“Time flies so fast with children,” says Amy Childs. “They have so many things, and it can be hard to know what’s worth holding on to. I’ve made a memory box for all my kids, and it’s so special to look back on. I’m thrilled to be working with Attic Self Storage on a campaign that encourages other parents to do the same.”

Amy adds: “Barking will always be home to me – it’s where I grew up and where my journey started. Being part of a campaign that supports families here means a lot.”

The campaign underscores Attic Self Storage’s ongoing commitment to their local communities. With modern, accessible storage solutions tailored for growing families, the new Enfield and Barking & Dagenham locations join a growing network of Attic facilities across London.

“We believe storage is about more than just square footage – it’s about making space for the things you love,” says Sophie Bagnall, Marketing Director at Attic Self Storage. “Our new store openings in Enfield and Barking & Dagenham are a chance to give back to the communities we serve by helping families protect and preserve the memories that matter most.”

The two brand-new Attic Self Storage facilities have officially opened at 806 Ripple Road, Barking IG11 0TT, and 720 Great Cambridge Road, Enfield EN1 3WX. These state-of-the-art storage centres offer modern, secure, and convenient storage solutions tailored to meet a wide range of needs. Customers can benefit from free 24-hour access, workspace pods, trolleys and forklifts, and app-controlled smart locks with individual alarms on every unit. All facilities are monitored via 24/7 CCTV, offering robust security features and convenient access for those storing their most valued belongings.
