This summer, King’s Cross is turning up the heat with an exciting line-up of four vibrant markets – each offering feel-good vibes and one-of-a-kind finds. From beautifully crafted homeware to affordable one-off illustrations, there’s always something new to discover while soaking up the lively King’s Cross atmosphere.
From July to September, the stellar series of markets will pop up across the neighbourhood, each offering a vast selection of items from independent homeware and arts and crafts brands, in addition to the 100+ permanent shops and restaurants already on offer.
And that’s not all, the much-loved King’s Cross Riviera returns for another season of FREE summer fun including pétanque in Pancras Square, open-air cinema at Everyman on the Canal and a sizzling eight-week line-up of music-themed events to celebrate 10 years of King’s Cross Summer Sounds.

Illustrators’ Fair – 12-13 July – The Crossing, Granary Square
Returning for its summertime edition, the Illustrators’ Fair is the UK’s largest free fair of its kind, with over 140 talented artists and independent publishers selling thousands of beautiful, engaging, desirable and affordable prints, zines, books and illustrated products.
The Crafty Fox Market – 13 July – The Crossing, Granary Square
On Sunday 13 July, the Crafty Fox Market will host over 110 artists and makers showcasing handmade jewellery, ceramics, artwork and more.
Shotengai Market – Monthly – Lower Stable Street- July, August
Part of Lower Stable Street Market, Shotengai will take place from 17-20 July and 14-17 August, offering a delightful array of unique and artisan pan-Asian gifts. Visitors can expect to find beautiful one-of-a-kind items and interesting keepsakes.
The Art Car Boot Fair – 20 September – Coal Drops Yard
Get ready for a day of art, laughs and unexpected delights as the Art Car Boot Fair rolls back into Lewis Cubitt Square with a riotous new theme, Comedy & The Comic!. Expect over 120 artists offering original works at accessible prices. Alongside the art, the fair is embracing the art of stand-up with clowns, comics and plenty to tickle your fancy.
With plenty of unique products on offer, the markets form part of another extraordinary summer in King’s Cross. This year, the shopping, eating and drinking hotspot will be transformed into a vibrant summer wonderland like no other – calm, traffic-free and surrounded by greenery, fountains and the Regents Canal.
