Big Zeeks, aka ‘The Fresh Prince Of Harlesden’, has jumped in the booth with Dancehall don Ding Dong, aka Mr Bad Man Forward, to drop ‘Clean’, a UK dancehall banger that is pure big energy and fresh vibes. ‘Clean’ was premiered on BBC Radio 1Xtra by DJ Target last night Wednesday 6th December, and released at midnight the same night.
‘Clean’, as Zeeks explains, “is not just about how ya dress, it’s about having a clean heart and clean intentions”, with a slick riddim and vibe to match, produced by deadly production duo Dot Inc (Mercston, Knucks, Raksu, Sean Paul, Kojey Radical).
Big Zeeks’ lyrics serve up the sartorial realness “Watch e dawg and mi dawgs how me stay clean. Louis V pon mi feet and a Nike. Mama dress clean and mi daddy dress clean. Yuh fi ya unnastand it run inna mi damn genes.”
The concept video premieres on Big Zeeks’ YouTube channel on Thursday 7th December at 7pm. It was filmed in Kingston, JA and full of dynamic fashion, style and dance imagery, all from the mind of Big Zeeks himself. We see Zeeks in various locations and Kingston landmarks, such as respected Romeich Entertainment HQ, changing clothes, looking crisp, clean and ready to go. By night, Zeeks links with Ding Dong at Kingston club Boasy Tuesdays. The video is full of key figures from the Dancehall scene, such as Shelley Belly, Energy Squad, Pata Skeng, Logga Logga and Cyant Tiad.
Big Zeeks has enlisted the vocals of Jamaican Dancehall legend Ding Dong, an artist who has never looked back since his smash hit ‘Bad Man Forward, Bad Man Pull Up’, to drop this infectious, feel good tune that is dripping with vibes and attitude.

Zeeks will be touring the UK ahead of the single release, playing grassroots venues and pop-up locations in Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester and more. ‘Clean’ is released via UK label Parlay.

Ding Dong is a leading figure in Jamaican Dancehall Reggae, a dancer and entertainer from Kingston, Jamaica. In early 2003, Ding Dong created the dance group Ravers Clavers who have been instrumental in creating some of the most popular dances known today. He released his debut single ‘Bad Man Forward Bad Man Pull Up’ which topped the charts in 2005/2006. He came up with the concept behind the single ‘Wakky Dip’, an ode to the late Gerald ‘Bogle’ Levy. Ding also made music with the late Danny Champagne and Elephant Man as well as winning several dancing titles.
