Billy Folchetti said “The future really belongs to our kids. They deserve to be uplifted, inspired, and given every opportunity to chase their dreams and change the world. For many disabled and autistic children, the starting line is often stacked against them. Being part of giving them hope, opportunity, and a new path forward is one of the greatest honours and gifts of my life. This isn’t just about giving back – it’s about creating lasting change for children and families in need.”
The Butterfly Ball Monaco, founded a decade ago by Modesta Vžesniauskaitė, partner of entrepreneur and philanthropist John Caudwell, has become one of Monaco’s most celebrated fundraising events. Today, Modesta remains deeply involved in shaping the ball, which continues to draw an exclusive guest list of celebrities, philanthropists, and influential supporters. The event will raise vital funds for Caudwell Children, supporting life-changing services for disabled and autistic children, including mobility and sensory equipment, autism assessments, and other essential resources.
Claire Marshall, CEO of Caudwell Children shared “We are delighted to have Billy Folchetti join us as guest creative director for this year’s Butterfly Ball Monaco. His creative expertise and attention to detail will ensure an unforgettable experience for every guest as we celebrate great minds and mark the charity’s 25th anniversary. The Butterfly Ball holds a very special place in our hearts, having raised millions to support disabled and autistic children across the UK. I’ve seen firsthand how these funds transform lives, and it is truly incredible to witness.”
In addition to Billy’s creative vision, the Butterfly Ball Monaco sponsored by luxury yacht company Burgess, will be a celebration of great minds and the charity’s 25th anniversary. Guests will enjoy an evening of fine-dining, an exclusive auction and a truly immersive experience in one of Monaco’s most mesmerising settings.
Founded in 2000 by John Caudwell, Caudwell Children has grown over the past 25 years into a leading UK charity dedicated to supporting disabled and autistic children and their families. All donations directly fund practical and emotional services which have been carefully developed with the direct input of children and families.
John Caudwell said: “I am incredibly proud that in the past decade the Butterfly Ball has raised millions of pounds and improved the lives of thousands of young people. Over the years, the event has grown in scale and ambition, but most importantly, it has helped to transform the lives of children across the United Kingdom. I’m immensely proud of what we’ve achieved, and I’m confident that, with Billy Folchetti’s leadership, this year’s Ball will set a new benchmark for philanthropic excellence. Together, we are helping create a world where every disabled and autistic child has the chance to shine.”
