London’s iconic Borough Market has curated a range of three special gift packages to celebrate mothers in the capital. Handily packaged in a reusable Borough Market hessian bag, the Mother’s Day treats can either be delivered by zero emission electric bikes for those living or working within a newly expanded 2.5 mile radius, or easily picked up from the Market until 9pm during the week via Borough Market Online’s Click and Collect service – perfect for commuters.
Available to order from 3rd March, sons and daughters looking to treat their Mum can choose from:
· ‘Mother’s Brew’: containing a pretty spring posy with daffodils and spring flowers from The Gated Garden; first of the season rhubarb & ginger jam from Rosebud Preserves; Darjeeling 1st Flush Afternoon Tea, a mild, floral, greenish leaf only produced from the first week of March to the first week of May from Tea2You; and two delicious Strawberry Shortbread Hearts from Cinnamon Tree Bakery for Mum to enjoy with her cuppa. The gift bags are available to order from Borough Market’s online shopping platform, powered by partner Good Sixty, which features a range of participating traders, accessed via the website: boroughmarket.org.uk. Customers can enter the unique code BMMUM at checkout to redeem £5 off orders over £20 – all Mother’s Day Gift Bags qualify. As well as the Mother’s Day gifts, shoppers can order a range of delicious, ethically sourced produce direct from Borough Market’s expert traders – including fresh meat, fish, fruit and vegetables along with teas, beers, wines and spirits, nuts, spices, oils and preserves. Once the order is placed, Borough Market Online’s team of shoppers will gather the produce from the relevant traders and place them in the designated hub within the Market. From here, customers can either collect their gift order between 12pm and 9pm Monday – Friday, 12pm – 6pm on Saturday – or it will be dispatched via state of the art zero-emission electric cargo bike to their address at a pre-booked time slot.
