Borough Market, London’s world-renowned historic food market, is launching a new ‘Click & Collect By Car’ service enabling customers to order groceries and store cupboard essentials online and collect their order from the Market without leaving their car.
The latest service introduced for ‘Borough Market Online’ is available between 1-5 pm Mon to Sat.
Customers can book their pick up slot and then drive into the car collection area, accessed via Bedale Street. A member of the Borough Market Online team will be waiting to give them their order and will place in their car boot, without the need for people to leave their car. All staff will be following social distancing guidelines and will wear masks and gloves.

Darren Henaghan, Managing Director, Borough Market said: “We want to make it as easy as possible for customers to access our traders’ wonderful range of fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, fish and cheeses. This new service is for Londoners who live or work locally but don’t want to come into contact with others – they can pick up all their essential ingredients without having to leave their car.”
Borough Market remains open for business from Monday to Saturday, with social distancing measures in place. The Market is focused on selling essential supplies of fresh produce and store cupboard ingredients for those working and living in the local community. All restaurants and catered food remain closed.
Borough Market’s delivery and collection service, Borough Market Online, offers an alternative way for customers to access Market produce either by click and click on foot or car, or via a doorstep drop delivery service which has been extended for those within a 4.5 mile radius of the Market, allowing orders to be received without contact with couriers.
