BOXPARK returns with ultimate ‘festive music throwback’ party next week

BOXPARK is back with their annual “Best Served Cold” event, after a sold-out edition last year when Lemar, Blazin Squad and Big Brovaz performed.

This year, it’s “Best Served Cold: Afrostalgia” – a nostalgic night celebrating golden-era British Afro RnB with live performances from Kojo Funds
(the
East London pioneer of UK Afroswing) and WSTRN (the
chart-topping trio known for smooth fusions of R&B and Afro-Caribbean rhythms) PLUS
The
Love & Afrobeats Band
– a 14-piece live orchestra of London’s most accomplished musicians – who’ve performed with Burna Boy, Tems and AJ Tracey – and are known for high-energy performances that blend live drums, bass, guitar, keys, strings, horns and vocals.

There’ll also be live DJs playing British music that dominated the scenes in the 2000s.

For the BOXPARK community, “Best Served Cold” is more than an event – it’s a winter tradition that unites music-lovers for an electric end-of-year celebration with live acts, DJ sets, food and drinks.
