B&Q TradePoint, the leading home improvement retailer’s trade brand, will be opening its first standalone TradePoint store in Barking on Friday 27th March, offering the trades a one-stop, speed and convenience to help meet the needs of their business, their jobs, their vans and for them.
The 32,000 sq ft store is the first standalone TradePoint site in the UK and has been designed exclusively for trade professionals. Customers will benefit from 6am opening hours, same‑day delivery in as little as two hours, 15‑minute click and collect, ‘load and go’ collection, and next‑day bulk delivery. Trade Business Development Managers will also be available to help with orders in store, online, by phone or through the TradePoint app.

The new store, which has created over 30 jobs in the local area, will offer more than 5,500 products to take away, plus an extended range of 25,000 items for collection or delivery. The Barking store will give local TradePoint members access to sone of the industry’s most popular professional tool brands including DeWalt, Makita and Johnstone’s Trade, and B&Q’s own Erbauer and Site ranges. The store will also include a paint mixing desk, two timber and plasterboard cutting saws, Speedy Tool Hire, and a team of TradePoint specialists.
To mark the opening, Fix Radio’s ‘Bald Builders’ – Brad and Sam – will be broadcasting The Bald Builder Breakfast Show from 6am to 9am, live from the new B&Q TradePoint in Barking, and customers can also enjoy:
