The borough-wide campaign will bridge employment opportunities to residents who need them the most
“Camden 100 in 100 – Pave the Way” is an innovative initiative calling on employers to pledge an employment opportunity to Camden residents, whether that is work experience, apprenticeships or full-time entry-level roles.
The campaign seeks to spur local employers to offer opportunities for residents to help discover their strengths and begin a new career that benefits them and the local economy.
The Council’s expert employment service will support businesses to scope out prospects, source and screen candidates, coordinate interviews and offer mentoring.
Breaking down boundaries to employment
Research shows residents such as care leavers, refugees and those with disabilities disproportionately face barriers to the labour market through inaccessible recruitment systems.
Camden is calling on progressive employers to lead the way in building a fairer, more inclusive borough. Whilst opportunities offered by employers can be open to all Camden residents, employers are encouraged to ringfence them for disadvantaged groups.
Pledges must be made between 3 November 2025 and 11 February 2026 and can be fulfilled anytime within the following 12 months.

Cllr Sabrina Francis, Cabinet Member for Jobs, Young People and Culture said:
“We’re calling on employers to work with us to create opportunities for residents who have huge potential but face the most boundaries to the right career ladder for them. ‘100 in 100’ is a win-win for everyone – a diverse and inclusive workforce isn’t just the right thing to do, it’s better for business. Inclusive teams bring fresh perspectives, greater innovation and stronger community connections.”
