This Christmas, London’s Camden Market will return as a dazzling family-friendly festive destination, welcoming Mother and Father Christmas to a frosted grotto, hosting live performances around the tree, and partnering with traders for delicious deals.
Throughout December, visitors can also explore and enjoy a stunning canopy of illumination, featuring a ‘ceiling of light’ above Water Lane and shimmering snowflake-inspired Christmas lights. Alongside six spectacular Christmas trees which will sparkle with snowflake decorations in icy blue and fuchsia pink colours capturing the magic of Camden Market as it welcomes the festive season.
Camden Market’s Christmas line-up includes:
• Ice Palace Grotto and Father and Mother Christmas Meet and Greet at Hawley Wharf, Food Hall – December 6, 7, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 22
At the heart of the festivities is the immersive Ice Palace Grotto, a ticketed experience (£10 for 3 hours), offering families a special meet-and-greet opportunity with Father and Mother Christmas, a beautifully decorated Christmas tree to enjoy, goody bags and a range of creative activities, including art tables for crafts, story corner and face painting for the children. These spaces are pre booked and start at 12:30pm or 1pm. £1 from each ticket sale will be donated to Camden Market’s charity partner, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH). • Opening Night at Hawley Wharf– 6th December
To celebrate the official start of Camden Market’s Christmas season, Hawley Wharf will play host to unforgettable launch on 6th December from 12:30pm – 4:30pm which will be free to the public. The Enchanted Ice Grotto will launch for the public in Hawley Wharf Waterside Halls food court plus guests will be treated to performances at 3:30pm from the Big Sing at Market Place, Hawley Wharf, promising a truly memorable evening of seasonal entertainment for the whole community to enjoy.

Home to more than 1,000 traders, Camden Market will host a variety of festive food, craft, and arts promotions to celebrate Christmas in true Camden style, including:
Yorkshire Burrito: Christmas Dinner and all the trimmings in a soft Yorkshire pudding. Slow cooked turkey, pigs in blankets and cranberry sauce, plus potatoes, greens and gravy
Hans & Gretel: Mince Pie gelato – handmade on-site
Humble Crumble: Hot Chocolate – 72% dark chocolate, vanilla whipped cream and cacao powder
