This Christmas, Camden Market will transform into an immersive winter wonderland. The landmark destination will also unveil a five-week line-up of festive activities, starting with a spectacular Christmas lights switch-on taking place on Thursday 28th November. From five dazzling, Christmas tree displays to free family-friendly entertainment, Camden Market is the place to be this festive season for those seeking a truly unique Christmas experience.
Camden Market will transform into a dazzling Christmas wonderland, with visitors immersed in a stunning canopy of illumination, featuring a “ceiling of light” above Water Lane, sparkling icicle lights, and shimmering stars scattered throughout the market. This year, Camden Market unveils its biggest-ever display of trees, featuring five bold and beautiful Christmas trees adorned in striking colours such as fuchsia pink, electric blue, and lime green. Lighting up the area, discover a towering 20ft tree in Hawley Wharf’s Market Square, a vibrant 16ft tree at The Quay, and a dazzling 16ft tree at Waterside Halls. Plus, a majestic 16ft tree at the main entrance and a spectacular 20ft tree outside Cyberdog in the Stables Market will cast a glow, warmly welcoming visitors into the heart of Camden’s festive celebrations.
Enjoy an unforgettable evening of free entertainment, featuring live music from a gospel choir, a vibrant steel pan band, and surprise roaming performances from Santa, his elves and festive fairies, and talented jugglers. Sip on mulled wine and mulled cider as Camden Market is transformed this Christmas.
Camden Market’s Christmas line-up includes: Santa’s Grotto:
A brand-new Enchanted Ice Grotto will open in Waterside Halls West from 28th November. The interactive space will be filled with magical twinkling lights including a glistening mirror ball and a bespoke handcrafted sleigh creating the perfect Christmas atmosphere.
Santa Meet and Greet -14th – 15th and 19th to 23rd December
Inside the Enchanted Ice Grotto, visitors will be able to meet Santa for £6 per child. These spaces will need to be pre booked and are from 1-5pm. £1 from each ticket sale will be donated to Camden Market’s charity partner, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH). Inside the Grotto, children will be able to write letters to Santa, take part in biscuit decorating, enjoy face painting and art workshops as well as a lucky dip present giveaway in partnership with Babylon Park. Choir Performances – Throughout December
At the Market Square Tree, Community Choir groups will perform festive music from 5pm-6pm. Tickets available from 11th November on camdenmarket.com and Eventbrite.

Saturday 21st December – London City Voices – A non-religious, non-audition choir collective bringing festive love
inviting visitors to sing along.
Sunday 22nd December – The IDMC Gospel Soul Choir – Joyful festive sounds uplifting your soul.
Cheeky Meeky Festive Rave – 23rd December
A free event in association with Babylon Park from 4-6pm. DJ Amika returns to Babylon Park Party Room with her line up of interactive family games, giveaways and fun dance routines. Tickets available on camdenmarket.com and Eventbrite from 27th November.
