Canary Wharf’s renowned Winter Lights festival returns for its 10thanniversary this January.
From Tuesday 21st – Saturday 31st January 2026, Canary Wharf will transform into a dazzling open-air exhibition full of discovery and possibility, playing host to some of the world’s most visionary light artists, all entirely free for the public to visit.
Instrumental in putting light art on London’s cultural map, Winter Lights continues to mesmerise audiences with its otherworldly installations. This year’s theme of “DREAMSCAPE” takes visitors on an exploratory journey through the surreal and extraordinary. Expect interactivity, movement, projection, playfulness and colour in a celebration of 10 years of light art.
Pippa Dale, Associate-Director Arts & Events at CWG says, “Winter Lights started as a glowing idea to brighten the dark January nights and bring joy through art to Londoners. Over the past decade, the idea has grown and grown, transforming into the capital’s most ambitious light art festival, with this year’s DREAMSCAPE theme representing our boldest vision yet.”
Full artist line-up to be announced in December.
