Nino Nikolov most commonly known as Nino Violion is a name thats about to take the industry by storm. We had a candid chat with him to find out more about his journey and future plans.
Opening up about his journey Nino told me “I have been involved with music ever since I can remember..Its my life! Starting with piano lessons at the age of 3 to learning the violin, guitar, double bass to now produce music. What I really got recognised for was my violin..I hit a point of my life where the violin got a little boring for me so I had to think what I could do with it…”
That’s when the idea of the electric violin developed…
Nino explained “I started performing in nightclubs and parties at the age of 17..(Yeah don’t tell anyone that..) That was about 2 and a half years ago now. It’s been a crazy experience”
He added “First place I played at was Romford. Since then, I’ve been building my way up in the scene to now traveling up and down the country and performing and holding residencies at some of UKs best and most exclusive parties, it’s been amazing!”
Although this is great for Nino this is only just the start for the local artist!
Talking about the future Nino said “I have so many ideas that I can’t wait to showcase!”
He added “First on the list is all the popular destinations..Ibiza, Dubai, Marbella and all the rest.. I have a few dates to announce soon so keep an eye out for that. I’m also currently working on an album which I’m hoping to release by the end of the year!”
Nino is set to work with close friend and DJ from Kiss FM – Richard Cutmore, the pair have got something very big lined up in the style of pete tong and the heritage orchestra, in addition to that Nino has been filming for a top secret TV show to screen later this year!
