Caridon Property is thrilled to announce that their CEO, Mario Carrozzo and Managing Director Akeel Aldina, have been named as the latest people to join the judging panel for the Young Start Up Talent competition.
Young Start Up Talent, which is sponsored by Natwest, is a community-based project which is held all over the UK and aims to support young entrepreneurs aged between 16-25, who are looking to start their own business. The competition has been the launch pad for several successful companies, with the likes of Ben Jeffries, the CEO of Influencer, and Natalie Evans with her company ’42 Juice’ as previous winners.
Caridon Property is deeply committed to supporting the local community, most recently winning the ‘Commitment to the Community Award’ at the 2018 Croydon Business Excellence Awards.
Mario himself is extremely well versed in this arena, having acquired and developed his first property aged 18. He has since gone on to become CEO of Caridon Property, where he pioneered one of the first rent guarantee schemes in London. Mario is now a highly-respected property entrepreneur, industry campaigner and self-professed family man. His passion and conviction around social responsibility initiatives is a driving force for the vision of Caridon with Caridon pledging a commitment to creating new opportunities and fairer housing for all.
Akeel joined Mario at Caridon soon after its inception and over the years has played an instrumental part in developing the company to what it is today, by working hard on the strategic development of the organisation. As the Managing Director, he has his eye on expanding the Caridon name across the UK. Again, just like Mario, Akeel will be able to bring a wealth of experience to the judging role, since he is already active in his local community; mentoring young students and entrepreneurs with their professional development and preparation for further education and the workplace.
Mario Carrozzo, CEO, said: “I am really pleased to be on the judging panel to meet the next generation of entrepreneurs and help them develop their ideas. It’s a great initiative for Caridon Property to get involved with and I look forward to the next competition.”
Akeel Alidina, Managing Director, said: “Mario and I looking forward to joining Matt, Lorraine, Daryl, David, Tony, and Jon on the judging panel of this great project. It’s fantastic to be able to work with entrepreneurs in the area and share our knowledge with them.”
The deadline for entries is the 23rd of December 2018, so if you know a budding entrepreneur that wants to get involved, now is their chance.
