This Remembrance Sunday, the UK’s tallest building, The Shard, will illuminate the London skyline with a poignant new falling petal display, honouring all those who have served and sacrificed in the Armed Forces of Britain and the Commonwealth.

As the sun sets on Sunday 9 November, the top 20 storeys of The Shard’s iconic Spire will be transformed by a moving display of animated poppy petals cascading down its glass façade. This striking visual tribute will offer Londoners a moment of reflection – recognising the courage, service, and sacrifice of the Armed Forces community, past and present.

The activation forms part of nationwide commemorations, uniting the nation in remembering those who have served in the armed forces and their families.
