Today, Castle Square has confirmed its Halloween plans for local residents, with live entertainment taking place over the course of Thursday 29th, Friday 30th and Saturday 31st. All planned activities are free of charge, with local residents very much welcome to attend!
A rolling schedule of children’s entertainment will take place in Castle Square in Elephant & Castle, over the course of Thursday 29th and Friday 30th October. This includes live shows for children such as a ‘kiddie rave’ with DJ Max, the Bertie and Boo show and junior ‘Keep Fit’ classes. This entertainment will run in Castle Square from 11.00 – 16.00 on both days respectively and social distancing guidelines will be adhered to throughout. On Saturday 31st there will be a full programme of entertainment that includes Latin classical guitar recitals, a steel drum performer, a wandering Mariachi band, DJs, comedy theatre and much more…
On Sunday 1st November, the Elephant & Castle Virtual Community Hub will also be hosting an online Spooky Sunday Halloween Extravaganza from 8.00pm – 9.00pm. Local residents can attend via a Zoom dial-in, and can join in the fun by taking part in the following:

A horror sing-along karaoke session
Virtual apple-bobbing
Spooky Fancy Dress Competition with adults and children alike being awarded for the scariest outfit
Spooky poetry reading and performances
