With 2023, marking 50 years of Hip Hop, a genre that has dominated and influenced culture across the board, BOXPARK and Hennessy are joining forces with RE:Imagine’s mesmerising 16-piece Orchestra to celebrate. This isn’t just an event; it’s a full-blown musical odyssey through the iconic history of hip-hop, spanning from its birth in 1973 to the sounds of today.

BOXPARK is more than a venue; it’s London’s vibrant home of music and culture and when Hennessy enters the scene, you know you’re in for something legendary. With RE:Imagine becoming one of London’s most loved musical experiences, they’ve partnered with the culture’s finest to celebrate five decades of hip-hop in a way that’s never been done before.
The event promises an extraordinary experience as BOXPARK showcases the genre’s rich history through RE:Imagine’s massive orchestra and accompanying visual presentation as unique as the music itself.
The stage is expected to burst with strings, brass, vocals, and percussion, allowing guests to journey through five incredible decades of Hip Hop, the gritty sounds of 1970s and 1980s New York, the fierce East vs. West rivalries of the 1990s, and the groundbreaking Southern rap of the 2000s, and basking in the global dominance of today’s Hip Hop icons. Attendees can expect exquisite Hennessy cocktails and drinks, specially curated to elevate their experience and keep the party going into the early hours.
