King’s Cross is set to shine even brighter this festive season as the neighbourhood’s much-loved Christmas markets return with a dazzling line-up for 2025.
From 27 November to 22 December, London’s most creative festive destination will host 8 unique markets, each offering exciting new experiences, seasonal treats and magical moments for all. Visitors can explore everything from independent homeware, fashion and beauty to arts and crafts and food galore – perfect for finding that special something.
New for 2025 and headlining this year’s line-up, Charity Super.Mkt returns to Coal Drops Yard with a special Christmas pop-up bringing together an inspiring selection of pre-loved clothing, from beloved designer brands to high street favourites. Participating charities include Traid and Havens Hospice, with all proceeds supporting vital causes.
Wine Car Boot will also make its festive debut, inviting visitors to sip, shop and discover exceptional wines from independent retailers, importers and producers, paired with delicious food, lively music and community spirit.
The Christmas markets will also whisk visitors away on a cultural extravaganza unique to King’s Cross, celebrating the rich traditions of Mexico and Japan. From the colourful Mexican Market hosted by Casa Pastor and Plaza Pastor – featuring handcrafted jewellery, ornaments, piñatas and live cumbia music – to the Shotengai Christmas Market showcasing pan-Asian homeware and cuisine, each market brings global creativity to the heart of London.

N4 Makers Market: 22 November, Coal Drop Yard
Explore a vibrant celebration of female-founded and led creativity at N4 Makers Market. This pop-up champions independent talent through themed events like the Indie Jewellers’ Market, Slow Fashion + Knitwear Fair, Ceramicists’ Mart, and Art + Design Market. Meet emerging and established designer-makers, discover handmade conversation pieces and affordable gifts, and soak up the inclusive, community-driven atmosphere. Expect thoughtful design, festive vibes, and plenty of inspiration.
Wine Car Boot: 27 November, Canopy Market
Sip your way around London’s best independent wine shops, sampling and selling their favourite wines. Discover new producers, enjoy tastings and soak up the festive atmosphere with great food, music and community vibes, all under the canopy.
Lower Stable Street Market: 27 November – 21 December, Coal Drops Yard
This B Corp certified Lower Stable Street Market returns for 2025 with a stellar line-up of traders offering food, drinks, homeware, art, books and clothing. This year the market expands into Granary Square offering even more festive browsing. Perfect for all shoppers, especially the environmentally conscious, this market provides a stress-free experience with eco-friendly gifts, crafts and seasonal treats from independent traders. Open Thursdays and Fridays from 12pm to 7pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 6pm.
Christmas under the Canopy: 28 November – 22 December, West Handyside Canopy
The much-loved Christmas under the Canopy market returns once again offering a brilliant selection of London’s best artisan traders and food stalls which can be enjoyed Tuesday to Sunday each week, plus Monday 22 December. Wander under a canopy of stars and festive lights and warm yourself up with some mulled wine or cider whilst enjoying the sounds of live music playing as you find the perfect gift for loved ones.
Mexican Christmas Market: 28 November – 30 November, Coal Drops Yard
Hosted by Coal Drops Yard restaurants, Casa Pastor and Plaza Pastor, the Mexican Christmas Market returns for another year, bringing a vibrant cultural experience to King’s Cross. Enjoy family fun with piñatas and a lively roaming cumbia band, while exploring artisanal Mexican clothing, accessories, ornaments and crafts from independent artists and designers. This market is the perfect place to find unique, Mexican-inspired gifts for your loved ones this Christmas.
The Christmas Charity Super.Mkt: 5 – 7 December, Coal Drops Yard
Shop from a curated collection of quality, second-hand fashion and accessories, brought to you by the nation’s best charity retailers. This one-off festive edition will also see the return of the beloved Repair Shop, offering visitors the chance to give pre-loved items a new lease of life while supporting vital causes.
Illustrators Festive Fair: 6 December, The Crossing
Immerse yourself in a wonderland of creativity and cheer as London’s largest illustration fair returns to King’s Cross for the festive season. Explore stunning artwork from the finest local independent artists and discover a treasure trove of prints, cards, zines and more. The fair will be open on Saturday 6 December from 11am – 5pm.
Crafty Fox Markets: 7, 13 & 14 December, The Crossing
Renowned for supporting emerging designers, makers and artists, the Crafty Fox Christmas Market is making its return to King’s Cross. Visitors can discover unique gifts from over 100 talented designers and makers each day, including art prints, homewares, jewellery and more. Entry is free and the event is accessible and dog-friendly! The market will be open from 11am – 5pm.
Shōtengai Christmas Market: 18 – 21 December, Coal Drops Yard
Experience the enchanting fusion of Japanese culture and festive cheer at the heart of King’s Cross. The Shōtengai Christmas Market transforms Lower Stable Street into a vibrant traditional Japanese street market, offering a delightful array of pan-Asian homeware and food, all while supporting small businesses and independent retailers.
Coal Drops Yard will see the return of a 50-foot Christmas tree wrapped in 15,000 low-power lights Liliane Lijn’s ‘Temenos’ will return to Lewis Cubitt Square in November and a brand new 60-foot Christmas tree in Granary Square is set to be unveiled in the run up to Christmas.
