Charing Cross Underground station is to be transformed into an extraordinary runway as couture and cheese collide in a first-of-its-kind fashion show – and food and fashion loving members of the public are invited to take a front row seat.
Emerging designers from the University of the Arts London (UAL) will be celebrating the distinct personalities of iconic European cheeses through a bold, playful and imaginative fashion runway.
Taking place on Thursday 6th November, with catwalk shows at 3:00pm and 6:30pm, the exclusive fashion event will see French cheeses brought to life as daring fashion pieces and accessories. Each look will showcase the heritage and story behind each cheese and honour the artistry and craftmanship of some of France’s most celebrated exports.
Guests can expect an immersive experience blending couture with culinary indulgence.
The runway will showcase the work of Foundation course students, and promises to showcase the sustainability, craftmanship and versatility of French cheese.
