Chelsea School Pupils Participate in Easter Egg Quest

Children from Cameron Vale School and The Chelsea Nursery had a spring in their step as they hopped around their neighbourhood, embarking on a quest for Easter Eggs.

In the build up to and over the Easter Weekend, the leading independent school hid chocolate treats at local shops in Chelsea, for the children to find with their parents when out and about in their local area.

Every few days, the school released a series of clues on their social media channels to help the pupils on their quest, with the competition open to all friends, families and followers of the school. To seek out the tasty Easter treats, the budding young detectives needed to figure out the clue, take their parents to find the eggs and show the hint to the shop to collect their prize.

One clue, “to continue this quest, we’re taking you to our nest, back to our front door, go hunt to collect some more” led pupils back to their school, while another directed the children to the Chelsea Creperie. Upon finding their prizes, the excited pupils were encouraged to share a photograph of their reward with their classmates.

Head of Lower School, Chloe Dorrington commented, “The pupils had a wonderful time embarking on their hunt for Easter eggs around Chelsea, working out the individual clues and exploring the local area to track down their treats. A fun Easter activity for all to enjoy!

“At Cameron Vale School and The Chelsea Nursery, we strive to provide a challenging educational experience through a broad, balanced and enriching curriculum, encouraging children to be curious, creative and independent. The Easter Egg Quest, like many of the extra-curricular activities available to our pupils, enriches and extends children’s critical thinking skills outside of the classroom, further enhancing the children’s experiences.”

Cameron Vale is a co-educational pre-prep and prep school for children from age 4 to 11 years. A homely and heart-lifting sight amid the bustle of Chelsea, London, Cameron Vale has a distinctive family atmosphere and nurturing ethos which celebrates the individual and strives to unlock each child’s true potential.

Driven by the belief that a ‘one size fits all’ approach is limiting, and supported by its small classes which allow each child to shine, the school is able to ensure children are known for who they are and develop their own gifts and talents; whether it be excelling in the classroom, on the sports field or the stage. Cameron Vale pupils are motivated to give everything and to be the best they can be, going on to prestigious secondary schools and further beyond.

A new addition to Cameron Vale School is The Chelsea Nursery, for children aged between 2 to 4 ½ years old. The Chelsea Nursery is committed to providing the best possible start to education, supporting each child to develop their full potential and develop a lifelong love of learning. In a safe and nurturing environment that is wholly child-centred, the curriculum is personalised to each child’s strengths and interests.

The Chelsea Nursery offers flexible wraparound care 50 weeks of the year, with opening hours from 8am to 6pm. Alongside the wider school’s breakfast and afterschool clubs, The Chelsea Nursery and Cameron Vale School are ideally placed for a one-stop school drop, just off the King’s Road.
