Today, 14 April, Chiswick House and Gardens Trust announces its vibrant summer 2025 event programme. The historic West London gardens are set to inspire creativity, adventure and celebration through a spectacular range of theatre, community and arts events – all while their new on-site studios fill up with artists, makers and creatives.

To open the summer programme, much-loved Giffords Circus returns to Chiswick House & Gardens for their only stop in London from June 6 to June 22, with highly-anticipated new show Laguna Bay. This never-before-seen production, set in the buoyant and sunny era of 1950’s America, will blend world class acrobatics, live music, and theatrical storytelling, fusing traditional circus and contemporary performance to create a truly immersive experience, guaranteed to cement their place as a true national treasure.

For the first time, CHGT will host a Creative Campus Community Open Day on July 6, to offer visitors a chance to engage with local artists and explore their work in the new on-site Creative Campus. Opening this spring, the campus offers artists affordable workspaces in a beautiful historic setting, supporting artistic development within the borough and wider London area and boosting local cultural and creative enterprise.. Guests can participate in family-friendly art workshops, tour the new studio spaces, and learn more about the vital role of creativity in the Hounslow community.

New to London and debuting at Chiswick House and Gardens is Action Arena XXL, the UK’s biggest touring inflatable assault course. From 31 July – 3 August, visitors of all ages can put their skills, fitness and determination to the test as they take on the 600 feet obstacle course, taking on its towering structures, twisting passages and adrenaline-fueled thrills. There will also be a mini course with four themed zones for little explorers (age 2-7) to adventure.

Visitors will be able to indulge their cultural side with three different outdoor theatre productions, all taking place within the beautiful gardens. On July 1, The Lord Chamberlain’s Men bring Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night to life in a traditional, all male performance with Elizabethan costumes, music and dance. Families can journey through Wonderland with Quantum Theatre’s Alice Through the Looking Glass on July 5, while from July 14 to 20, Arts Centre Hounslow presents A Midsummer Night’s Dream, surrounded by the magic of nature.

Returning to Chiswick House & Gardens on July 26, Ben & Jerry’s Sundaes in the Park Festival offers an evening of live music, entertainment, and indulgent ice cream. This over 18s event will feature a lineup of musical performances alongside pop-up experiences and unlimited scoops of Ben & Jerry’s signature flavours, with its laid back festival atmosphere and unique ice-cream theme making it a highlight of the season’s events.

Beyond the scheduled events, visitors can enjoy the beauty of the historic 65-acre gardens, which are free to enter and perfect for picnics, leisurely strolls, and exploring nature. The historic Kitchen Garden is free and open to all, and provides a glimpse into 17th-century horticulture, while the House itself welcomes visitors from May 22 (ticketed entry applies).
