Following a sell-out success in 2025, Chromatica Orchestra returns to Battersea Arts Centre this half term with another magical afternoon of music and storytelling for all the family.
The orchestra, which supports emerging musicians at the beginning of their careers, will give two performances of Prokofiev’s much-loved Peter and the Wolf on Tuesday 17 February 2026 (2pm & 4.30pm).
Led by conductor Tess Jackson, Prokofiev’s tale will be brought to life in this interactive performance designed to enchant young audiences and their grown-ups alike. Families are invited to discover how instruments can embody characters, from a fluttering flute bird to prowling French horns as the big, bad wolf.
Expect a fun-filled afternoon where imaginations can run wild, packed with drama, delight, and just a hint of danger.
The return to Battersea Arts Centre follows overwhelming demand for Chromatica Orchestra’s Carnival of the Animals, which captivated audiences last year.
Suitable for children aged 7+, tickets are £15 and each performance runs for one hour without an interval.
