Broadgate Central has officially opened its doors, marking the first new retail and leisure destination to open in the City of London for 15 years.

The new space, which will welcome 28 additional retailers, connects one of the capital’s busiest transport hubs, Liverpool Street station to Finsbury Avenue Square, creating a lively route lined with restaurants, shops and wellness spaces. Broadgate Central is designed with modern London life in mind – from commuters to city dwellers alike – creating a vibrant and accessible destination for all.

Bringing together some of the most exciting names in fashion, dining and wellness, Broadgate Central houses everything from Michelin-starred dining and Parisian patisserie to contemporary womenswear, fine jewellery and premium grooming.

The latest brands to join an already star-studded line-up include:
Moyses Stevens – London’s oldest luxury florist, renowned since 1876 for exquisite hand-tied bouquets
Poolhouse – the next evolution of social entertainment, where high-tech pool meets good old-fashioned hospitality. Created by the founders of Topgolf and Puttshack, it blends immersive gameplay, elevated food and drink, and an electric social atmosphere
Salad Project – redefining healthy eating with fresh, seasonal, and customisable salads and bowls
The Horsemen – an Irish-American Freehouse and Club Dining
Townhouse – luxury nail salon
Eton Shirts – perfect fit and timeless style for every occasion

They join a number of high-profile fashion brands already announced, including Boots Fragrance – Boots’ first ever standalone fragrance store – Molton Brown, NOTTO To Go, Läderach, Maison Ladurée, Moss, Strip, Murdock London, Sandwich Sandwich, Sushinoya, Mango, Luca Faloni, Hobbs, Whistles and Vagabond.

The launch on Thursday 13 November was marked by “The Drop” – a bold celebration that turned the traditional ribbon-cutting on its head. Hundreds of colourful ribbons cascaded from above, each giving attendees the chance to win prizes and exclusive experiences from Broadgate Central brands. Hosted by fashion presenter Annaliese Dayes, the event filled the space with energy, music and movement, featuring live DJ sets, roaming performers and a vibrant lunchtime atmosphere.

Kate Lea, Head of Shopping Centre Leasing at British Land, said: “Broadgate Central marks an exciting new chapter for Broadgate, bringing even more energy and variety to the City of London. It has been designed to offer something different – a place that brings fashion, dining and wellness together in one connected space.

“By curating a line-up that spans from cult foodie names to heritage fashion, we’re creating a hub that feels vibrant, contemporary and relevant to the way people want to spend their time today.”
