If laughter is the best medicine, then the National Autistic Society has the perfect prescription – the Matt and Co. Comedy Show returns this year with a dose of comedy and an injection of fun. Warning: side effects may include giggles, chortles and side-splitting humour!

Hosted by award-winning comedian and National Autistic Society ambassador Matt Richardson, a gaggle of comedy stars will perform live on stage at the Clapham Grand on 14th November 2023; raising smiles and funds for the UK’s leading charity for autistic people and their families.

The star line-up for the Matt and Co. Comedy Show includes: Matt Richardson, Rhod Gilbert, Rosie Jones, Jen Brister, Cally Beaton, Milton Jones, Paul Sinha, Josh Jones and Joe Wells.

The National Autistic Society’s mission is to change attitudes, transform lives and create a society that works for autistic people. Money raised from the Matt and Co. Comedy Show will help fund the charity’s work and ensure autistic people get the support they need to live happy and fulfilled lives.

Matt Richardson, Comedian and National Autistic Society Ambassador, said: “I’ve been working with the National Autistic Society since the start of 2018 and raising awareness of autism is a cause close to my heart.

“My younger brother Alex is autistic and like me, an ambassador for the charity. There was so much about the way he saw the world that I didn’t know, until we started working together. It’s been really eye opening and I feel much closer to him because of it.

“We’ve got a cracking line-up for this year’s Matt and Co. Comedy Show, so make sure you dig deep and raise lots of money for the National Autistic Society”.

Hayley Parker, Interim Head of Fundraising and Supporter Relations at the National Autistic Society, said: “We’re thrilled to announce the return of the Matt and Co. Comedy Show, hosted by award-winning comedian and our charity’s ambassador, Matt Richardson.

“Thank you to everyone who has supported the event so far; and to the hundreds of comedy fans and charity supporters who’ll be joining us on the night at the Clapham Grand.

“There are more than 700,000 autistic people in the UK, and events like this raise awareness and vital funds to help support our charity’s important work in creating a society that works for autistic people.”
