Confirmed lineup (so far) for FREE two-day Hackney festival

In just under two months’ time Hackney Marshes will be alive with thousands of visitors attending the free Hackney Moves festival.

The festival will yet again host live music, fitness sessions and activities, spread across three stages and several smaller stations, offering something for everyone.

Taking place across 17 – 18 May, the free event runs in conjunction with the 2025 Wizz Air Hackney Half Marathon, bringing waves of runners and supporters together for a celebration of the area.

Here’s a breakdown of what has been confirmed so far, to help you make the most of the weekend’s vibrant atmosphere:

Flight Klub are locked in as the Participation Partners for 2025 and 2026, bringing their unique energy to the festival. Their Drum & Bass Boxing Experience is a perfect mix of exercise and entertainment so bring your friends and come and join in.

In the family fun zone, Hackney Play Bus, a local charity dedicated to bringing play to children in the community, will provide fun for under 5’s, while NYGlorious Face Arts provide face painting.

It’s truly a Festival of Fitness, with a full schedule of all the sessions to be unveiled in due course, Hot Steppers, The Body People and Faye Edwards are just some of the already confirmed fitness presenters, while BADU will once again be delivering their popular multi-sport activation zone.

Sunday afternoon will see top music acts take the stage, including The Voice UK 2024 finalist, STORRY. She’s joined by local beat boxer, Beatfox, and the amazing Kele Le Roc.

Alongside all the entertainment, there will be a huge variety of food and drink traders onsite to keep everyone fuelled and hydrated in the spring sunshine. The festival will have something for everyone, whether you’re there for the half marathon the family fitness activity or the vibes, it’s an iconic weekend that celebrates the best of Hackney.
