CRACK THE EGG-NIGMA CODE AND TRACK DOWN GIANT EGGS AT RHS GARDENS THIS EASTER

With the Easter holidays just around the corner, little ones can enjoy the great outdoors with an egg-cellent giant Easter egg hunt at RHS Gardens. Running on various dates between 5-27 April at all five iconic sites, families can track down giant eggs, collect symbols with the help of a code-breaker kit, and crack the code for a delicious chocolate treat.

The gardens are also playing host to plenty of other cracking activities including Welly Walks, live storytelling sessions, arts and crafts workshops, and family-friendly planting for budding gardeners. Spring is also the perfect time to get outdoors, enjoy seasonal blooms and enjoy the gardens’ array of unique play areas.

RHS Garden Bridgewater, Greater Manchester: 7 – 27th April
Visitors can get stuck into cracking good fun at RHS Bridgewater this Easter with over 150 acres of garden to discover. Little detectives can hop along the giant Easter Egg trail to crack the code and get hands-on with Easter crafts to create spring chick finger puppets and more. Budding gardeners can also get their hands dirty and plant a bunny food mixture of lettuce and sunflower seeds to take home and grow. Families can also enjoy a host of fantastic live entertainment, delicious food and drinks in the garden’s array of eateries and spy beautiful spring blooms.

RHS Garden Wisley, Surrey: 5 – 21 April
Easter at Wisley is packed with egg-citing hands-on activities, with 240 beautiful acres of gardens to discover. As well as cracking the egg-nigma code in the return of the giant Easter Egg hunt, families can enjoy more egg-sillerating (should it be egg-zillerating?) action with Operation “I Spy”. Should families choose to accept, they can join RHS experts to learn about the secret power of plants and their hidden underground networks. Guests can also get stuck with ‘Muddy Hands Green Fingers’ workshops to create a plant clone to take away and enjoy live story times and plenty of spring blooms for the perfect day out.

This Easter holiday, families can spring into a host of interactive activities at the stunning RHS Garden Harlow Carr. Along with the annual giant Easter egg hunt which will take visitors hopping around the garden to crack the egg-nigma code, there will be egg-stra special forest school workshops, family story yoga and hands-on planting activities. Those searching for the signs of spring can join the Garden Detective adventures around the garden, where RHS experts will lead the search with plenty of stories, games and secret challenges along the way. After exploring the garden, little ones can drop into a craft workshop and design an Easter basket to take home.

From a giant egg hunt, face painting and garden crafts there is plenty to see and do at RHS Garden Rosemoor this Easter. Guests can crack the egg-nigma code with this year’s giant egg hunt, get stuck into crafts and enjoy a host of live performances and activities. For plenty of hands-on fun, little ones can plant a chocolate sunflower, create sticky chocolate-scented slime and create an Easter garland and other festive decorations. The much-loved Flying with Strings interactive string puppet show will return and those looking to soak in the spring plant life can join the Easter Welly Walk where they may even spot the Easter Bunny.
