Glide into the holidays
Lace up your skates and glide into the Easter holidays with Ally Pally’s popular Kids Go Free ice skating offer*, giving little ones the perfect chance to discover the magic of the ice for the very first time from Saturday 28 March – Sunday 12 April.
For those keen to build their skills, the Easter fast-track Learn to Skate courses will also run during the holidays on Monday 6 March and Monday 6 April. Designed for beginners aged 5-15, the week-long sessions are led by expert coaches and offer a fun introduction to skating.

Or, head down to the boating lake and hop aboard one of Ally Pally’s fantastically fun pedalos. Choose your vessel, from a majestic swan, a fiery dragon, a fabulous flamingo or even a unicorn! Pedal your way around the lake, soak up the spring sunshine and drop by the newly reopened Boathouse Café for well-earned refreshments and relaxed lakeside views.
Get creative this spring
Calling all creatives! Unleash your artistic side at the Springtime Card Decorating Workshop on Sunday 29 March. Artist Virginia Sutton will guide visitors through designing and decorating their own Easter or spring-themed card to take home, a relaxed and creative way to welcome the season.
And for budding engineers and speed enthusiasts, Broomstick Racers are back! The team from Elite Transformations return to the Transmitter Hall between Friday 3 – Monday 6 April, giving children the unique chance to make and race their very own wooden car. Once complete, racers can put it to the test, on a specially designed racetrack and see how fast it can go!
