Customers are being advised to check before they travel on Thursday 27 February and on Saturday 1, Saturday 8 and Monday 10 March as planned strike action by ASLEF is expected to significantly impact Elizabeth line services. Customers can visit tfl.gov.uk/strikes for the latest information.
The planned strike action would result in no services running between Abbey Wood and Reading/Heathrow, including the section of the railway from Paddington to Abbey Wood.
On 27 February and 1 March, a significantly reduced service is expected to run between Liverpool Street National Rail station and Shenfield, with no service before 07:00 and last services running from 18:00. These services will not call at Maryland, Manor Park, Forest Gate and Goodmayes stations. Service information for this section on 8 and 10 March will be confirmed nearer the time.
Customers travelling to or from London Heathrow airport should consider using the Piccadilly line to complete their journey.
If travelling on Elizabeth line services during the early morning the day after these strikes, customers are advised to check before they travel as there will be some disruption to services.
No other TfL services will be impacted by strikes, but some will be busier than normal, particularly the Jubilee, Central and District lines. On Saturday 1 and Saturday 8 March, there will planned works on other lines, including the DLR. Customers should consider alternative routes, allow extra time for their journeys, and check before they travel. Some customers may also want to consider alternative transport options, including walking and cycling, with Santander Cycles available in central London, and e-scooters available for hire in some London boroughs.

Howard Smith, TfL’s Director of the Elizabeth line, said: “Talks are continuing, and we urge ASLEF to suspend any industrial action whilst these are taking place. We encourage ASLEF and MTR Elizabeth line to continue talking to try and resolve this dispute and avoid impacting our customers with strike action.
“If the strike action does go ahead, customers are urged to check before they travel, allow extra time for their journeys, and check the TfL website or the TfL Go app for the latest travel information.”
TfL is running a wide-ranging communications campaign to ensure customers are aware the strike action is taking place and to help minimise any disruption wherever possible. This includes signposting customers to the latest travel information via tfl.gov.uk/strikes or the TfL Go app.
