Croydon doesn’t play when it comes to fried chicken, and this December Dave’s Hot Chicken is turning up the heat with its brand new store, so clear your schedules and prep your taste buds for a tingling.
After bringing some serious spice to London over the last year in its flagship store on Shaftesbury Avenue and Westfield White City, the Nashville-style chicken brand is adding some West Coast swagger to the heart of Croydon.
The new location will weave Dave’s signature L.A. street-food energy into Croydon High Street’s culture-rich. The new store will bring great music (from Dave’s iconic playlist) and a fast-casual hangout made for locals and is set to become a go-to stop for quick bites, post-shop refuels and late-night weekend heat for the community that put Croydon on the fried-chicken map.
Customers who film a mukbang of their first-ever Dave’s Hot Chicken meal at the Croydon store and geo-tag Dave’s Hot Chicken Croydon on social media will be entered to win free chicken for a year. The prize includes two meals per week at Dave’s Hot Chicken Croydon for 52 weeks, with the winner announced on Dave’s social channels.
Fans can expect the usual cult-favourite menu: juicy chicken tenders and sliders, the iconic seven-level spice scale from No Spice to Reaper (waiver required), as well as sides including mac & cheese and top-loaded fries. And to top it off? A line-up of creamy top-loaded shakes and fruity slushers.
