London’s Deputy Mayor for Education and Childcare, Joanne McCartney, today visited Park Walk Primary School in Chelsea to see the work being done to improve the health of their pupils and achieve the Mayor’s Healthy Schools London Gold Award status.
Park Walk Primary School has received the Healthy Schools London Gold Award in recognition of their efforts to promote physical activity and enhance students’ emotional wellbeing.
The Deputy Mayor saw the impact this work is having as she met with staff and students enjoying breaktime snacks of fruit and vegetables and taking part in decision making exercises to help build up their confidence.
