Derek Adu has reportedly taken a medical at Heerenveen Football Club.
The ex-Chelsea FC striker has now proceeded forward to a medical with the club indicating that he will sign with Heerenveen if the medical is successful.
Adu has scored 26 in his last 16 games for Chelsea FC and would be a good addition for the Eredivisie side.
Heerenveen play in the Eredivisie, the top level of football in the Netherlands.
Sources say the medical will be completed this week.
