Residents across the County are being invited to experience a unique and inspiring exhibition celebrating Essex Freemasonry and 250 years of history, community spirit and charitable impact.
“Foundations of Fellowship” will be on display at Havering Museum from 9 May to 24 July, offering visitors a rare opportunity to explore the rich heritage, traditions and modern-day contributions of Essex Freemasonry within the local community .
This remarkable exhibition brings together historical artefacts, stories and imagery that highlight the enduring values of friendship and charity. From its historic origins to its present-day role supporting local causes, the exhibition paints a compelling picture of an organisation deeply rooted in community engagement.

The exhibition will be open Wednesday to Friday, 11:00am – 4:30pm, with special Saturday openings for planned events .
Located at Havering Museum, 19–21 High Street, Romford, the venue provides the perfect setting to explore this significant milestone and learn more about the people and values behind it.
