Ealing Broadway are inviting homegrown talent from local musicians, dancers and poets to perform on its Town Square main stage as part of the return of Summer Live, taking place from Saturday 27 July.
In collaboration with local festival Hanwell Hootie, the centre’s Summer Live stage will be hosting music sets from solo artists, bands and community groups each weekend throughout the summer (from Saturday 27th July), with Sundays dedicated to emerging talent.
During the week, the stage will be opened up to the wealth of talented performers living in and around Ealing – budding local singers, musicians, writers and dancers looking to impress a captive audience are invited to apply for their slot here.
The ever-popular Summer Live event will see the Town Square transformed into the perfect soul-boosting celebration of all things summer, complete with comfy deckchairs, sports on the big screen, a family sandpit, and a butterfly installation courtesy of local group Make It Ealing – helping visitors get into the groove and enjoy a music-filled day out. Pop-up food and drink stalls, including a prosecco bar, will also be available on selected days.
Running from Saturday 27 July – Monday 26 August, the programme of events includes:
Saturdays 12pm-5pm: incredible pro music sets including solo artists, bands and community groups.
Sundays 11am-4pm (plus Bank Holiday Monday on 26 August): new and emerging names with upcoming musicians stepping into the spotlight.
Wednesdays-Fridays: local talent takes to the stage.
Throughout the summer, Ealing Broadway will also be hosting screenings of this year’s exceptional programme of sporting events including matches from Euro 2024 in Germany, the tennis from Wimbledon and the Olympics and Paralympics in Paris.
