Ealing Broadway has announced a packed programme of family activities taking place over the next few weeks to celebrate Easter and the arrival of spring.
From a free flower giveaway to an Easter-themed day of fun in partnership with long-term charity partner Home-Start Ealing, there’s range of free and low-cost activities for families to make the most of.
Family-friendly events taking place at Ealing Broadway over the next few weeks include:
Free flower giveaway – Friday 20th March (from 11am): Marking the start of spring, the centre will be giving away free bouquets of fresh flowers for shoppers gift to someone special – whether a friend, neighbour, family member or colleague – helping to spread moments of kindness across the community.
Home-Start Ealing Easter Family Event – Tuesday 24th March (11am – 1pm): Home-Start Ealing, Ealing Broadway’s charity partner, will host a range of Easter activities in Town Square for little ones to enjoy in the run up to Easter, with all funds going directly to the charity:
Easter Egg Trail: Follow a trail around the centre to solve the puzzle and win a chocolate prize. Families wanting to take part should visit the Home-Start team outside Tesco to pick up a trail guide before searching for hidden eggs across the centre. Entry costs £2 per child.
Easter Bonnet Competition (12.30pm): Little ones will have the chance to create an Easter Bonnet before entering it into the competition for judging – with a prize for the best design. Participation is £3 per child.
Free face painting – Wednesday 1st April, and Wednesday 8th April (12-4pm): A talented face painter will be on hand to transform little ones into their favourite characters or bright-coloured creations during the Easter holidays.
