The wait is over! Electric Shuffle, the cocktail and high-tech shuffleboard bar, officially opens the doors to its new King’s Cross venue this Friday, 6th June, with a tonne of treats on offer to mark the occasion. Ahead of the opening this weekend, the highly anticipated bar has released a first look at the perfect setting for weekend brunches, post-work catch-up cocktails, competitive showdowns and epic parties this summer and beyond. Electric Shuffle King’s Cross is set to be the ultimate backdrop for any occasion.
Located close to the vibrant Coal Drops Yard, this gorgeous new addition to the King’s Cross neighbourhood is the third Electric Shuffle to open in London. It joins locations in Canary Wharf’s Cabot Square and on London Bridge’s bustling Bermondsey Street.
To celebrate its arrival in King’s Cross, Electric Shuffle is kicking things off with a bang this Friday, giving away 250 of its signature margarita cocktails and hundreds of prizes across the whole opening weekend.
As part of the big giveaway, there will be a chance to play shuffleboard and try your hand at Electric Shuffle’s high-tech game. Each slide of a puck will see prizes up for grabs from bar tabs to brunch tickets, shots, merch and more. Anyone keen to bag a freebie should head to the bar from 5pm on Friday to join in the fun!
Electric Shuffle King’s Cross promises to be THE destination for unforgettable times with friends, colleagues and loved ones. Here’s what you can expect from a visit to this new hangout…
Bold cocktails and killer bites
Next-level cocktails and sharing dishes make up the food and drink on offer. Sourdough pizzas like BBQ roasted chicken, and small plates like Middle Eastern sliders and South Korean pork belly bites perfectly complement the bar’s signature cocktails and epic twists on the classics. Limited-edition summer bangers like Tropic Like it’s Hot, a burst of tropical flavour featuring Patrón Silver, mango, peach, and lime and Jungle Spritz, a mix of Aperol, Monkey 47 gin, almond and lemon, are a must-try.
A brunch that hits different
Electric Shuffle throws out avocado toast and eggs in favour of endless sourdough pizza. At its two-hour weekend brunch sessions, “bottomless” refers to the all-you-can-eat pizza that is brought to your table from start to finish. Wash the pizza down with a bottle of prosecco or four beers each and 60 minutes of competitive fun at a shuffleboard table. Party vibes are guaranteed as the resident DJ pumps the tunes out. Tickets from £38.
Unbeatable vibes
This seriously slick bar is the perfect retro contemporary mash-up, celebrating music and the history of its King’s Cross location. Think wall-mounted turn tables with spinning records, vintage electronics-filled shelves, with nods to local nightclubs and radio stations from years gone by, and Electric Shuffle’s signature rotating neon turbine wheel. There are hidden surprises throughout, including a disco toilet that will turn a trip to the loo into a party.
There are two gorgeous bars to take advantage of and an outdoor terrace that’s perfect for long summer nights soaking up the vibes (and plenty of cocktails).
Friendly competition…or not
More than your typical bar, Electric Shuffle is also a place where you can get competitive with a cocktail in hand with high-tech shuffleboard showdowns. Up to 16 can play at one table, with connectable tables for larger group get-togethers and big events (from 32-400 people). The aim of the game (there are four immersive games to choose from) is to score the highest by landing pucks strategically. Cameras track pucks to tally scores and capture replay highlights, sent to you as a personalised story at the end of the night.
CEO Steve Moore said, “After years in the making, we are so excited to be opening our newest venue. King’s Cross is such a vibrant, buzzing location, so we feel really privileged to be here. We can’t wait to show everyone what we’ve been working on and kick off the summer properly!”
