ENJOY WICKED FUN AT RHS GARDENS THIS OCTOBER HALF-TERM WITH PUMPKINS AND SPOOKY SURPRISES

This October half-term, the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has a wicked programme of events across all five RHS Gardens, for monsters of all ages to enjoy from 25 October – 2 November.

Celebrating The Secret Life of Pumpkins, visitors can enjoy a host of frightfully good activities, from pumpkin trails and live carving, insect encounters, and spooky story times. From zombie discos to creepy crafts, visitors can get their claws stuck in as well as explore the gardens in their fiery autumnal colours.

RHS Garden Wisley, Surrey

Visitors can get stuck into scarily good fun with pumpkin trails, insect hunts and at RHS Garden Wisley this October half-term with The Secret Life of Pumpkins. Families can discover displays on the Pumpkin Garden Trail, meet insects with Zoolab and join live story times with Tales from the Pumpkin Patch. Little monsters can grab their magnifying glasses for a magical Hocus Pocus bug hunt and watch Sand in Your Eye professional pumpkin carvers for the perfect visit this spooky season.

RHS Garden Rosemoor, North Devon

A pumpkin garden trail, creepy crafts, and brilliant bugs await those brave enough at RHS Garden Rosemoor this October half-term. Those who dare can get up close and hands-on with cool critters with Zoolab and get face-to-face with Snakes, spiders, and snails and explore their connections to pumpkins. Visitors can celebrate Halloween and join live pumpkin carving with experts on 31 October, where they will be revealing the mysterious Rosemoor pumpkin, and for the perfect day out, take part in pumpkin family craft workshops.

This October half-term, the whole family can get stuck into creative family workshops for pumpkin-inspired crafts, join the Garden Detectives to uncover historical mysteries and enjoy pumpkin yoga and cosy storytelling. Little ones can get up close to snakes, spiders and snails with Zoolab workshops and watch professional pumpkin carvers for a boo-riliant time.

A hauntingly fantastic programme of events is lined up this October half-term at RHS Garden Bridgewater with creepy crafting, a wicked Zombie Disco and plenty of autumnal adventure to celebrate The Secret Life of Pumpkins. Families can join Sow the City to discover the top-secret electrical currents of plants, get hands-on with creepy crawlies with Zoolab workshops, and get dressed up for the Zombie Disco for frightfully good fun. Visitors can follow the autumnal Pumpkin Garden Trail for gourd-ous seasonal displays and watch expert craftsmen as they carve the brilliant Bridgewater pumpkin.
